The ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo is where language educators from around the world come to meet! This global event brings together more than 8,000 language educators from all languages, levels, and assignments. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive professional development experience that will have an impact on language educators at all levels of teaching and in turn help their students to succeed in their language learning process.
The public is invited to participate in the 41st Annual SAAABE (San Antonio Area Association for Bilingual Education) Conference providing staff development for bilingual / dual language and ESL educators and future educators since 1979. The theme of this year’s conference is “The Bilingual Education Journey: Pasado, Presente y Futuro”.
The 49th Annual NABE Conference. Along with internationally renowned keynote and featured speakers, there will also be special presentations from experts in the field and over 200 concurrent sessions. Participants will also be able to register online for visits to local schools that are implementing successful dual language programs. The NABE Exhibit Hall will showcase educational products and services. NABE’s Job Fair provides a forum for school districts seeking to recruit.
Each year, the American Educational Research Association’s (AERA) Annual Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of education researchers and a showcase for groundbreaking, innovative studies in an array of areas – from early education through higher education, from digital learning to second language literacy. It is where to encounter ideas and data that will shape education practices and policies, and where to connect with leading thinkers from around the world.
The purpose of MABE conference is to create the opportunity for dual language educators to network and collaborate, increase our professional development, share instructional methods that promote bilingualism and multiculturalism, disseminate current research, and learn new ways to reach out to families and communities.
